Take one sound effect of a dog barking and snarling (originally appearing on the first sound effects LP in the DFS series), mix it with alternate takes, edit to LP length, and you have this LP. To quote from the back cover notes:

"This unusual recording presents such a watchdog at work, reproducing the full-throated sounds of savage vigilance in a surprisingly varied and completely real 'performance.' "
